Despite all the financial trouble, Union Olimpija added Croatian big
guy Jure Lalic, with a contract that will keep him with the Slovenian
club for the remainder of the season. 24-year old and 212cm tall Lalic,
comes from Belgian Champions Charleroi, which he left due to limited
playing time. Last season he averaged 6 points and 2.8 rebounds per
game with the Belgian club.
Plaza renews with Cajasol
The contract of Cajasol's Head Coach, Joan Plaza was to expire in
summer 2011. The club's officials however seem to appreciate the work
that is being done by Plaza so they offered him an extension until the

Single seats sold out for 2010 Final Four in Paris!
A month and a half before it starts and with the participating teams
still not known, Euroleague Basketball has announced that all tickets
have been sold out for the 2010 Final Four, which is to be held May 7
to 9 at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, the French capital.

Maceo Baston released by Budivelnyk
Maceo Baston, the biggest singing of Ukrainian club Budivelnyk Kyiv
only spent a couple of weeks at the club before his contract was
terminated. Coaching staff of the team were dissatisfied with the
physical condition of a former Euroleague champion and used the clause
