March 25, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 26
Partizan
mt:s Belgrade claimed the last remaining spot at the Adriatic League
Final Four after downing Szolnoki Olaj 83:69 in the last round of the
regular season. In the Final Four semis, Partizan will play Igokea, the
team with the best record, while second place Crvena Zvezda Telekom
will clash with Radnicki Kragujevac. Against Szolonki, Partizan used an
11-0 burst in the first quarter to go up 19-13 and take the lead for
good. A triple from Davis Bertans midway through the third quarter made
it 50-33, but the visitors made a 3-16 run bridging the third and
fourth quarter to get within 63-61. However, Bertans soon hit another
three-pointer, and Vladimir Lucic added one of his own to seal the deal
and send Partizan to the ABA Final Four. Lucic finished with 16 points,
Bertans netted 14, on 4 for 8 three-point shooting, while Bogdan
Bogdanovic and Djordje Gagic each contributed with 11 points. Read more

March 23, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 26 preview
Even it was announced that all games in Game 26 in
ABA Adriatic league will be played at same time, Saturday, March 23 at
20.00 CET, it won’t happen. Nothing strange since we had so much mess
from ABA Adriatic league in this season, so this “small” change won’t
be any problem. Six games will be played today, and one game tomorrow,
Sunday, March 24. First game today will start at 18.00 CET, five others
at 20.00 CET. With Game 26 we coming to the end of regular season in
ABA Adriatic league and it will be known who will compete in Final 4
tournament in Laktasi, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At this moment it is
clear that Igokea as leader and regular season Champion, Crvena Zvezda

Igokea has clinched its first-ever Adriatic League regular season
title, becoming the first team from Bosna and Herzegovina to do so.
Igokea downed Krka 84-75 and secured the first place in the standings a
week before the end of the regular season. The hosts made a key 10-0
run at the end of the third and start of the fourth quarter, as a layup
from Nenad Sulovic made it 64-55, and the hosts cruised to victory
after that. Branko Jorovic led in historic victory with 24 points and 6
rebounds. Corsley Edwards scored 17 points, Sinisa Stemberger had 13,
and Cliff Hammonds 11. For Krka, Domen Lorbek netted 18 and Matjaz
Smodis had 17. Crvena Zvezda Telekom downed Buducnost 79-63 to clinch
the second place in the standings. Igor Rakocevic scored 16, Michael
Scott 14 points, and Boris Savovic collected 12 points plus 12

March 14, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 25 preview
With only one game today, Game 25 in ABA Adriatic
league regular season will start. The rest of six games, will be played
during next three days. Igokea is still leader despite defeat against
Partizan mt:s in Game 24. Igokea, with great 18-6 record is the main
candidate to qualify to Turkish Airlines Euroleague as the winner of
regular season. Crvena Zvezda Telekom holds position 2 with 17-5
record, and after unexpected defeat against Siroki Wwin in Game 24, and
probably lost all chances to win league in regular season. Three teams
will fight for two tickets for ABA Adriatic league Final 4 tournament,

March 12, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 24
Partizan
mt:s defeated league-leader Igokea 73-64, and Eurocup quarterfinalist
Buducnost Voli Podgorica thrashed Split 66-47, as victories launched
them into a three-team third place tie of the Adriatic League
standings. Vladimir Lucic scored 5 points during a 14-3 run late in the
second quarter as Partizan took control of the game, helping it build a
38-30 halftime lead. Advantage reached double figures at the start of
the second half, and 11-2 run that bridged the third and the fourth
quarter made it 64-49 and sealed the deal. Lucic finished with 13
points, while Djordje Gagic and Drew Gordon each scored 11 in victory.
Branko Jorovic led Igokea with 15 points plus 7 rebounds and Marko
Dozet scored 13. Buducnost also improved its chances to grab an ABA
Final Four spot as Aleksa Popovic netted 22 points in big win over

March 9, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 24 preview
With two games tomorrow, ABA Adriatic league Game 24
will start. After 23 played games, Igokea is still leader with 18-5
record. Three more games till the end of regular season, and things
getting more and more interesting. After mess which ABA Adriatic league
caused regarding regulations about who will play in Euroleague next
season, situation is clear right now, as Euroleague made an compromise
for this season. It is still amazing that ABA Adriatic league caused
such a mess, but still without any consequences and penalties for those
who are responsible. Tomorrow, two very interesting games that could be
decisive for Buducnost VOLI and Radnicki Kragujevac. Radnicki will play
road game in Zadar and will try to win and make step closer to Final 4.

Partizan
mt:s Belgrade rallied from 11 points down in the final 4 minutes to
shock Cedevita Zagreb 76-77 in an all-Euroleague clash of the Adriatic
League. This huge win improves Partizan to 14-9 record in a share of
the third place, while Cedevita dropped its third straight game and to
12-11 record. Led by a near-perfect night from Marko Tomas, Cedevita
had a double-digit advantage several times in the second half, and led
67-56 with little over 4 minutes to go. Parizan, however, scored 21
points before game’s end, and finished it on a 0-8 run as Leo
Westermann and Davis Bertans nailed triples before Dragan Milosavljevic

Game 22 in ABA Adriatic league
will start today with only one game. Three games will be played
tomorrow, Saturday, February 23. At Sunday, February 24, two more
games, and finally at Monday, February 25, one game. As we coming
closer to the end of regular season in ABA Adriatic league, things
getting more and more exciting. Igokea is still leader with 16-5
record. Crvena Zvezda Telekom is on the second place with 15-6 record,
and this is the main fight in next 5 games to see who will be the
winner of regular season. MZT Skopje vs. Igokea, one of the most
interesting games in this week. Even on position 8 at this moment, MZT
Skopje with 11-10 record, still have chances for Final four. For Igokea
this game is also very important if they still have plans to finish

Led
by Aleksa Popovic, Eurocup quarterfinalist Buducnost Voli Podgorica
picked up an important 60-72 away victory at Zadar to move into sole
possession of the third place in the Adriatic League standings.
Buducnost led from start to finish as Aleksa Popovic scored 12 points,
including two triples in the beginning of the match as the visitors
took 8-23 lead. Another triple from Popovic made it 16-35 midway
through the second. The hosts recovered, managed to crawl within 57-61
with little over 4 minutes to go, but Popovic and DeMarquis Bost hit
back-to-back threes to seal the deal. Popovic finished with 29 points
on 5 for 6 three-point shooting, and Cedomir Vitkovac chipped in with
10. Franko Kastropil led Zadar with 20 points and 7 rebounds. In a

Crvena Zvezda Telekom rallied from 15 points down to beat arch rival Partizan mt:s
84-76 and continue its pursue of ABA League leader Igokea which plays
on Monday. Zvezda improved to 15-6 record after trailing 31-46 ad Davis
Bertans and three-point shooting carried Partizan. But the hosts
answered, putting together an 11-0 run that bridged second and third
quarter, and went in front 52-51. Teams traded leads until the final
minutes when Rasko Katic made a tough basket inside for 77-76, and
Zvezda finished the game on a 9-0 run to seal the deal. Katic finished
with 20 points against his former team, and Igor Rakocevic also scored
20 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Boris Savovic had 15
points plus 8 rebounds in vicory, while Bojan Subotic chipped in with

After one week break in ABA Adriatic league because
National Cups were played in competitors countries, Game 21 will start
today with three games. Two more game will be played tomorrow, Sunday,

to the end of regular part of season in ABA Adriatic league, things

Eurocup
Last 16 teams Crvena Zvezda Telekom and Buducnost Voli Podgorica picked
up important away victories as it got crowded on top of the Adriatic
League standings with six games remaining. With teams fighting for the
top four spots that lead to the ABA Final Four, Cedevita downed Igokea 56-64,
handing the league leaders their first home loss of the season, and
enabling Zvezda, Buducnost, Radnicki Kragujevac and Partizan mt:s
Belgrade to cut the gap behind the leaders. Cedevita took control in
the first quarter with two triples from Marko Tomas, and one from
Marino Bazadaric. Crvena Zvezda improved to 14-6, one game behind

February 2, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 20 preview
With five games today, and two more games tomorrow,
Sunday, February 3, Game 20 in ABA Adriatic league will start. We
coming to the most interesting part of season, situation is still
pretty unclear and we will see a lot interesting games and fights for
four spots in ABA Adriatic league Final 4. After 19 played games,
Igokea is still at the top with great 15-4 record. Crvena Zvezda
Telekom holds position 2 with 13-6 record. Partizan mt:s is at position
3 with 12-7 record and fourth team is Buducnost VOLI with 11-8 record.
Same 11-8 record have Radnicki and Cedevita, and it makes this stage

January 29, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 19
Eurocup
Last 16 teams Crvena zvezda Telekom and Buducnost Voli Podgorica picked
up victories that got them closer to the top of the standings as
Adriatic League leaders Igokea lost for only the second time in 11 games.
Zvezda crushed MZT Skopje 87-72, improving its record to 13-6 and
remaining in the second place of the standings. Red-and-whites started
pulling away near the end of the first quarter, but made a 16-4 run in
the final minutes of the second quarter that made it 60-38 at halftime.
Zvezda cruised after that as Igor Rakocevic scored 25 points, while
Rasko Katic had 14. Todor Gecevki led the visitors with 12 points plus
7 rebounds and Goran Cekovski netted 11. Buducnost downed Krka 74-66
and improved to 11-8 after grabbing control of the game by winning the

As we coming closer to the end of regular season in
ABA Adriatic league, things going more and more interesting. Game 19 in
ABA Adriatic league will be played in three days, four games today. Two
games will be played tomorrow, Sunday, January 27, and one game at
Monday, January 28. After 18 played games, Igokea is superb leader with
great 15-3 record, and according to many people already in Turkish
Airlines Euroleague for the next season. Let’s wait and see what will

January 21, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 18
Igokea
kept a firm grip on the Adriatic League lead by winning a showdown with
second-place Crvena Zvezda Telekom 80-77 on Saturday. Sinistaj
Stemberger's three-point strike with 2.9 seconds left broke a tie after
Zvezda had rallied from game-long deficits of as many as 11 points.
Marko Brkic led the winners with 15 points and 8 rebounds, while Boris
Savovic had 16 and 11 rebounds for Zvezda. Igokea has a 15-3 record
now, three victories ahead of any other team. Partizan mt:s Belgrade
took advantage of the situation to move into a second-place tie by
stopping fourth-place Buducnost VOLI with a 63-50 win at home. Partizan
ruled the first half 38-21 and never looked back as Vladimir Lucic

Here comes Game 18 in ABA Adriatic league. It is
expected to be one of the most exciting week in this competition in
this season. We will enjoy in several interesting match-ups, and two
great games, both may be called Game of the week. This week in ABA
Adriatic league will be played during two day. Today we have six games,
and tomorrow, Sunday, January 20, only one game. Zadar vs. Cibona
Croatian derby, but unfortunately we may also say, derby of teams from
the bottom of ABA Adriatic league. Both teams in pretty bad situation,
with identical terrible record 6-11. Cibona had much changes in last
week as several players left team, and they also had some changes in

Eurocup
Last 16 teams Crvena zvezda Telekom and Buducnost Voli Podogrica
continued their hot streak and a climb up the standings of the Adriatic
League. Crvena zvezda trashed Cedevita Zagreb 90-65 for eleventh win in
last 12 games in the competition. Zvezda never trailed in the game in
which it hit 12 three-pointers in 19 attempts. The hosts opened the
game with an 18-4 run and led 46-23 after 18 minutes. Cedevita cut it
to 63-52 with 8 minutes to go, but never closer than that as Branko
Lazic and Vuk Radivojevic hit back-to-back-to-back triples to seal the
deal. Boris Savovic lead in victory with 14 points, Aleksandar
Cvetkovic and Elton Brown each scored 12, while Radivojevic fueled the
team with 9 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Bracey Wright scored 22
in defeat. Buducnost crushed Szolnoki Olaj 88-63 to move into sole
possession of the fourth place with Vladimir Mihailovic and Strahinja

January 12, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 17 preview
With four games today, ABA Adriatic league will
continue competitions with Game 17. Two games more will be played at
Sunday, January 13, and one game at Monday, January 14. After 16 played
games, Igokea is still at the top of ABA Adriatic league standings with
great 13-3 record. Today’s action start at 18.30 CET. Cibona vs. Krka
Cibona lost in Game 16 in pretty good game against Partizan mt:s. That
was tough game for both teams in pretty unsportsmanlike atmosphere in
Pionir Sport hall. Game was even suspended for about half an hour due
to problems with hooligans. After game was continued, Partizan mt:s
uses its chances and won. Krka surprisingly won against Zadar in road

January 10, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 16
The
year started in the ABA League with the 16th week of competition.
Igokea is still the leader with a 13-3 record after beating Radnicki.
Partizan mt:s wins over KK Cibona, 74-68, behind Dragan Milosavljevic's
15 points. Vladimir Lucic added 13 and Drew Gordon had 11. For Cibona,
Darryle Strawberry led the way with 19 points and Tomsilav Zubcic had
14. The game was tied after 30 minutes, 51-51, and in the last period
and Partizan didn't close it until Milosavljevic hit a two-plus-one
entering the last minute for 72-66. In another duel with Euroleague
team, Cedevita Zagreb lost at home to KK Split by a close 72-75.
Despite Bracey Wright's 19 points and erwin Kitchen's 14, the hosts
were outplayed by Split, led by legend Nikola Vujcic and his 18 points.

January 4, 2013 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 16 preview
With six games tomorrow, Saturday, January 5, Game
16 in ABA Adriatic league will start. Another one game will be played
at Sunday, January 6. After two weeks break, we are ready for new
excitements in this competition. This week will bring us several very
good games. Action starts tomorrow with four games starting at 17.00
CET. Szolnoki Olaj vs. Siroki Wwin. Derby of last two teams at this
moment. Both teams in pretty difficult situation since they are at the
bottom of ABA Adriatic league standings. Ivan Velic, coach of Siroki
Wwin resigned after Game 15 after pretty bad start of season. In
meantime, Siroki Wwin appointed ex Assistant coach Damir Vujanovic as

December 25, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 15
With
the Adriatic League leader Igokea playing at Buducnost Voli Podgorica
on Monday, Partizan mt:s and Crvena Zvezda Diva picked up victories to
remain in the second-place tie and close the gap behind league’s best.
Partizan downed Krka 58-66, after pulling away from the hosts in the
fourth quarter. Drew Gordon basket and Davis Bertans triple made it
51-56 midway through the fourth and gave Partizan lead for good. Still,
visitors needed Nemanja Gordic stringing together 6 points and Bertans
hitting another triple to seal the deal. Dragan Milosavljevic led
Partizan with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Gordon had 13 points
plus 7 rebounds. Bertans finished with 12, shooting triples 4 for 7. No
Krka player reached double figures, as Uros Lucic scored 8. Zvezda
pulled out victory over Zadar behind 22 points from Igor Rakocevic, and
15 points from Rasko Katic. Romeo Travis amassed 25 points and 11

December 21, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 15 preview
Game 15 in ABA Adriatic league will start tomorrow,
Saturday, December 22. First day, two games will be played. Four more
games will be played at Saturday, December 23, and one game at Monday,
December 24. After 14 weeks, Igokea dominate competition with score
12-2. Tomorrow at 17.00 CET, Krka will host Partizan mt:s and will try
to knock down Partizan mt:s after few consecutive losses. Just few days
ago, Partizan mt:s lost again, this time against Zadar in incredible game.
At this moment, Krka is at position 11 with 5-9 score. Partizan mt:s is
at position 4 with score 9-5. Also tomorrow at 19.00 CET, Crvena Zvezda
Diva will host Zadar in Belgrade. Crvena Zvezda Diva doing great job in
last several games and they are currently at position 2 with 9-5 score.

December 21, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 14
Cedevita
Zagreb rallied from behind to beat Buducnost Podgorica 84-75 and move
into a share of the second place in the Adriatic League standings.
Buducnost used a 1-11 run that bridged first and second quarter to take
22-25 lead, and visitors held a slim advantage for most of the second
and third quarter. In the final 10 minutes, however, Cedevita rallied
as Bracey Wright and Predrag Suput hit back-to-back triples in a 16-3
run that put Cedevita up 70-61 and gave it lead for good. Wright scored
24 points, Suput scored 22 on 4 for 5 three-point shooting and grabbed
9 rebounds, while Andric collected 12 points plus 7 rebounds. Gerald
Lee scored 23 for the visitors, while Demarquis Bost scored 17 in
defeat. In a game with craziest of finishes, Zadar edged Partizan mt:s 80-78.
Ante Delas hit a three-pointer of the glass with 4.4 seconds to go,
giving Zadar 77-75 lead, but Davis Bertans replied with a triple for

December 18, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 14 preview
Just one day after Game 13 of ABA Adriatic league
finished, Game 14 knocking on the door with one game today, two games
tomorrow, Wednesday, December 19, and four games at Thursday, December
20. Today, at 20.00 CET, Crvena Zvezda Diva will host Split. Three days
ago, Crvena Zvezda Diva topped Radnicki Kragujevac
in great game and showed. At this moment, Crvena Zvezda Diva is at
position 3, with 8-5 score. Split lost against Zadar in home game, and
badly dropped to position 12 and score of 5-8. This game is great
chance for Crvena Zvezda Diva to make revenge for defeat in Game 1,

December 18, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 13
Igokea extended its lead atop the Adriatic League standings to two wins after it beat Cibona 94-88 on Saturday and second-placed Partizan mt:s Belgrade came up short 70-68 at Szolnoki Olaj.
Sinisa Stemberger scored 21 points to pace Igokea, which improved to
11-2. D.J. Strawberry led Cibona with 20 points, while highly-touted
newcomer Dario Saric finished with 4 points and 3 assists in 16
minutes. Ernests Kalve’s game-winner lifted Szolnoki to just its third
win of the season, while dropping Partizan to 9-4. Partizan trailed by
12 at halftime, but rallied with a strong third quarter to set up an
exciting finish, however Szolnoki had the final word. Marton Bader led
the winners with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Kalve scored 16. Drew
Gordon amassed 20 points and 13 rebounds for Partizan. Crvena Zvezda
DIVA and Cedevita are tied for third place with 8-5 records. Zvezda bested Radnicki 87-73
as Igor Rakocevic shined with 20 points and 6 assists. The hosts
trailed 42-46 at halftime, but took control with a big third quarter.

December 15, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 13 preview
We are on the half-way of competition in ABA
Adriatic league. Four games will be played today, one more tomorrow,
and two more at Monday, December 17. In first game today, at 17.00 CET,
in Croatian derby or we can also call it, derby of teams from the
bottom of standings, Split will host Zadar. Split currently at position
11, with score 5-7, Zadar at position 13 with score 4-8. I believe that
Split will use home court to reach another one win, and escape from the
bottom. At 19.00 CET, Game of the week and Serbian derby also, in
Pionir Sport hall, Crvena Zvezda Diva will host Radnicki Kragujevac.

Promising
young star Dario Saric made a long-expected debut for Cibona Zagreb and
his new team snapped its four-game Adriatic League losing streak
downing city rivals Cedevita 73-64. Cibona has never trailed in the
contest, building a 16-point lead just before halftime. Cedevita
rallied and cut the deficit to 56-51 at the end of the third quarter,
however, Cibona held the visitors scoreless from almost 5 minutes at
the start of the fourth quarter making a 10-0 run that sealed the deal.
Andrija Zizic and Darryle Strawberry each scored 16 points in victory,
Marin Rozic added 13 points plus 6 steals, while Saric scored 8 along

Three days of new excitements and good games in ABA
Adriatic league will start today. With Game 12, we are almost on the
half way of ABA Adriatic league in this season. Today, at 17.00 CET,
Krka will host current leader, Igokea. Krka, currently at position 9
with score of 5 wins and 6 losses will have great challenge to try to

December 3, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 11
Igokea Aleksandrovac jumped into the sole possession of the first place in the Adriatic League with a convincing 73-50 win over Partizan mt:s Belgrade.
Hosts grabbed control with an 11-0 run near the end of second quarter,
then opened the third quarter with an 18-5 run to open up a commanding
51-26 advantage. Marko Brkic led Igokea with 17 points, Branko Jorovic
scored 13 and Nebojsa Joksimovic had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5
assists. Dejan Musli was Partizan’s lone scorer in double figures with
10 points, as his team dropped into second place with 8-3 record. Union
Olimpija rallied from 19 points down in final 13 minutes to beat Cibona

December 1, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 11 preview
Game 11 in ABA Adriatic league will start today with
three games. Current leaders, Igokea and Partizan mt:s will meet each
other in Game of the week. Action starts today at 17.00 CET, when
Radnicki Kragujevac will host Zadar. Great opportunity for Radnicki
Kragujevac to improve it score. They are currently at position 6 with
score 5-5. Zadar is at position 13, with score of 3-7. Hopefully, team
of coach Miroslav Nikolic learned a lot from previous games, so they
are ready for Zadar. At 20.30 CET, MZT Skopje will host Szolnoki Olaj.
If I bet, I would put all money on MZT Skopje, since I believe that
Szolnoki Olaj is far from quality to play in ABA Adriatic league. Read

November 26, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 10
In a clash between two Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams, Partizan mt:s Belgrade pulled out tough 58-55 win over Cedevita Zagreb
to remain in the first-place tie of the Adriatic League standings.
Visitors led for most of the game, but never more than 6 points.
Partizan forced 29 turnovers, though, and rallied midway through the
fourth quarter with an 11-0 run. Davis Bertans and Vladimir Lucic
scored fastbreak layups, Dragan Milosavljevic hit a triple while Drew
Gordon scored inside for 53-46 advantage. Luksa Andric and Marko Car
pulled Cedevita within 2 points, however, visitors did not manage to

November 24, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 10 preview
Game 10 in ABA Adriatic league coming today with
even five games today and two games tomorrow. As usual, it is expected
that we will see a lot of excitements and good games as well. Action
starts at 17.00 CET as Szolnoki Olaj will host Igokea. It will be clash
between leader of the ABA Adriatic league standings Igokea, and team
from the bottom Szolnoki Olaj. Igokea with score of 7 wins and only two
losses is favorite in today’s game even they play road game. Szolnoki
Olaj have score of 2 wins and 7 losses. Also at 17.00 CET, expectedly
great match in Zagreb as Cibona will host Crvena Zvezda Diva. Probably

Partizan
mt:s pulled off an impressive 82-86 road win at Uniuon Olimpija
Ljubljana Monday to remain tied for first place in the Adriatic League
with Igokea at 7-2. Partizan trailed 76-74 with two players already
marching to the bench with 5 fouls, but strong defense followed by
Olimpija star Aron Baynes also fouling out allowed the visitors to
regain the lead on points from Drew Gordon and Dragan Milosavljevic.
Teenager Nikola Milutinov came through with 2 free throws with 14
seconds remaining to ice the Partizan victory. Vladimir Lucic paced the
Serbian champs with 13 points and Gordon and Dejan Musli added 12

Game 9 in ABA Adriatic league will start today with
four games on schedule. Get ready for more excitements and good games.
At 16.30 CET, Croatian derby as Split will host Cibona. After eight
played games in this season in ABA Adriatic league, Split have score of
3 wins and 5 losses. Cibona is in bit better situation as they have
score of 4 wins and 4 losses. However, this start of season is not that

November 12, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 8
Eurocup representative Crvena zvezda Diva beat their arch-rival and a Turkish Airlines Euroleague team Partizan mt:s Belgrade 78-92 and moved up to the fourth-place tie in the ABA League
standings. Crvena zvezda never trailed and built a double-digit lead
already after 9 minutes. After hosts came within 6 points, Igor
Rakocevic made basket-plus foul to start a 2-12 run and open up 24-42
advantage. Zvezda was up by as many as 19 points in the second half and
with Partizan trying to make a run in the final quarter, DeMarcus
Nelson scored some key points to help avoid drama at the end. Nelson
finished with 20 points, Elton Brown scored 15 and Boris Savovic

Basketball never stops. After two days in Eurocup
competition, and two days in Turkish Airlines Euroleague, now we have
two day in ABA Adriatic league. With three games today, Game 8 in ABA
Adriatic league will start. Action start at 17.00 CET with two games.
Krka will host Split in Novo Mesto. Both teams have identical score of
3 wins and 4 losses, and at this moment takes 10th and 11th position at
standings. In another game at 17.00 CET, Cibona will host Radnicki
Kragujavac in Zagreb and it is expected to be very interesting game to

November 6, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 7
Cedevita became the first team to slay Igokea,
which in return dropped into a tie for first place in the Adriatic
League with Partizan mt:s Belgrade. Cedevita scored the last 5 points
of the game in the final minute to claim a 78-76 victory. After Igokea
guard Cliff Hammonds put the visitors up 3, Mickael Gelabale quickly
scored 2 from the line, Cedevita sent its former player Corsley Edwards
to the line and he missed twice. Then Bracey Wright nailed the
game-winning triple and Sinisa Stemberger missed a shot to tie it at
the buzzer. Partizan used 21 points on 3-for-4 three-point shooting

It is time for new excitements in ABA Adriatic
league. Game 7 will start tomorrow, Saturday, November 3 with four
games. After six played games, Igokea is still undefeated and one of
the biggest and most positive surprises in ABA Adriatic league. But it
seems that whole Europe is pretty surprised about great start and
results of Igokea in ABA Adriatic league. Tomorrow at 17.00 CET,
Radnicki Kragujevac will host Krka and try to improve their score, but
even more important to find their game. After 6 games, Radnicki

October 29, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 6
Partizan mt:s jumped into a sole possession of the second place in Adriatic League standings after a comfortable win over Radnicki Kragujevac 91-80.
Partizan can even climb into a first place tie if another The Turkish
Airlines Euroleague team, Union Olimpija, down league leading Igokea on
Monday. Partizan used an 11-2 run to bridge first and second quarter
and open up a double-digit advantage, and after 15 minutes already held
37-18 lead and control of the game. Vladimir Lucic led in victory with
22 points hitting 5 of 6 2-point shots and 3 of 4 from behind 6,75 arc.
On the other hand, Cedevita Zagreb dropped into third place with a surprising home loss to Zadar 67-83.
Cedevita never had a lead in the game, and had two scorers in double

October 26, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 6 preview
With
four games tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, Game 6 of ABA Adriatic
league will start. After five played games, only one unbeaten team is
Igokea. At 17.00 CET, MZT Skopje will host Crvena Zvezda Diva in
expectedly one of the most interesting games this week. Aleksandar Todorov stepped down as MZT Skopje coach few days ago. As it was announced today, new coach is Slovenian coach, Ales Pipan. Crvena Zvezda Diva fired Morris Almond, and signed Michael Scott.
Before this game, MZT Skopje have score of 2 wins and 3 losses, Crvena
Zvezda only 1 win and 4 losses. Also at 17.00 CET, Cibona and Siroki
Wwin will play in Zagreb. Both teams have identical score of 2 wins and
3 losses, and both teams will try to improve its score in this game.

With Turkish Airlines
Euroleague teams Union Olimpija and Cedevita Zagreb playing their big
ABA League game on Monday night, Partizan mt:s climbed to a 4-1 record,
taking sole possession of second place. Partizan recorded a big 62-81 victory at Buducnost Podgorica.
Drew Gordon and Vladimir Lucic each scored 5 points in Partizan’s 3-17
first-quarter run that gave them 9-22 advantage and Buducnost never
came closer than 7 points rest of the way. Lucic finished as game
leading scorer with 18 points, Leo Westermann had 13 points, 6 rebounds
and 5 assists, while Dejan Musli and Davis Bertans scored 10 apiece.
Aleksa Popovic led Buducnosts with 16 points, Gerald Lee and Cedomir
Vitkovac each scored 13. Eurocup representative Cibona Zagreb needed

October 19, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 5 preview
With
game between Crvena Zvezda Diva and Igokea, Game 5 of ABA Adriatic
league will start today. Game 5 will be played during four days,
ridiculous huh? Oh, well. So, tonight at 20.00 CET, Crvena Zvezda Diva
will host current leader and the only one still undefeated team,
Igokea. It is expected to see crowded Pionir Sport hall, and I believe
that Crvena Zvezda Diva fans will be their sixth player in this game.
It will be interesting to see if Igokea will remain undefeated, and if
they keep playing at high level, like until now. Tomorrow, Saturday,
October 20, two games on schedule. At 17.00 CET, Radnicki Kragujevac
will host Szolnoki Olaj, and if you ask me, it is great chance for

October 16, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 4
Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams Cedevita, Union Olimpija and Partizan mt:s came away victorious in Game 4 ABA League
action and remain tied in second place with 3-1 records. Olimpija and
Cedevita lock horns in crucial early-season test next week. Cedevita
almost squandered a 15-point lead, but managed to down Crvena Zvezda
Belgrade 68-66. After Marques Green’s triple to start the fourth
quarter, Cedevita led 56-41, but did not respond well to the visitors’
zone defense. Zvezda went on a 5-15 run and eventually had a couple of
chances to tie the game. However, with 25 seconds to go, Morris Almond
missed 2 free throws and in final seconds Igor Rakocevic missed a shot
from 4 meters that would have sent the game into overtime. Predrag
Suput scored 18 points on 3-for-4 three-point shooting to lead Cedevita

October 13, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 4 preview
Today, Game 4 of ABA Adriatic league will start with
three games. Three more games will be played tomorrow and one game at
Monday, October 15. Szolnoki Olaj and Buducnost VOLI will open this
week, and I am sure that we may expect interesting game. Both teams
have identical score of 1 win and 2 losses. If you ask me, this could
be good opportunity for Buducnost VOLI to reach new win, since I
believe that they have better team at this moment. Game will start at
17.00 CET. At 20.00 CET, Igokea will host Split in Aleksandrovac and
this game is one of the most interesting in Game 4. Igokea,
unexpectedly the only one unbeaten team after four games will try to

October 8, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 3
It was not a successful weekend for the Turkish
Airlines Euroleague teams in the Adriatic league as Partizan mt:s
Belgrade, Cedevita Zagreb and Union Olimpija Ljubljana all recorded
losses. Behind 20 points from Andrija Zizic, it was Cibona Zagreb that
snapped their five-game losing streak against their long-time rival Partizan 80-72.
Cibona led most of the way, had built a 12-point lead early in the
fourth quarter, but Vladimir Lucic sparked Partizan's 0-10 run that
closed the gap to 66-64. That is when Zizic stepped up as he scored 14
points in the fourth quarter and sealed the deal. Darryle Strawberry
and Tomislav Zubcic each added 13 for the winners, Strawberry also had
6 steals, while Lucic was the only visitors' double-digit scorer with

Game 3 of ABA Adriatic league will be played during
three days, starting from tomorrow, October 6. Two games tomorrow, as
Cibona will host Partizan mt:s and Split vs. Cedevita. Cibona and
Partizan will play at 17.00 CET at Saturday, and this will be very
interesting game to watch. Currently, Cibona is without win in first
two games and this is opportunity to try to reach first win. On the
other hand, Partizan mt:s have perfect score in first two games, and I
am sure that they will try everything they can to stay unbeaten. Read

October 4, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league, Regular Season, Game 2
The
three Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams, Union Olimpija Ljubljana,
Cedevita Zagreb and Partizan Belgrade, remained unbeaten in the second
round of the Adriatic League and share the first place in the table
with Igokea Aleksandrovac. Olimpija downed KK Split 82-73 after pulling
away with a 29-18 second quarter. Jaka Blazic led the way with 22
points and Klemen Prepelic added 17. Bracey Wright nailed 22 points on
4-of-5 three-point shooting and Luka Babic contributed with 15 on 4 of
6 from long distance to lead Cedevita to an easy 86-68 win over
Radnicki Krugevac. Partizan Belgrade beat Krka Novo Mesto 79-60 after

October 2, 2012 - ABA Adriatic league 2012-13, Game 2 preview
Game 2 of ABA Adriatic league will start today with
two games, Zadar will host Crvena Zvezda Diva and Union Olimpija will
host Split. In first game, Zadar and Crvena Zvezda Diva will play at
18.00 CET and this game could be one of the most interesting games in
Game 2. Zadar had pretty good game against Partizan mt:s at Friday, but
they lost because of incidents in Pionir Sport hall.
Crvena Zvezda Diva will try to reach first win with its expensive

September 30, 2012 - ABA Adriatic League, Regular Season, Game 1
Turkish
Airlines Euroleague clubs Partizan mt:s Belgrade, Union Olimpija
Ljubljana and Cedevita Zagreb ran the board with opening-game wins in
the Adriatic League this week. Partizan saw Danilo Andjusic, Dejan
Musli and Torey Thomas score 12 points apiece to save a tough home victory 81-74 over Zadar.
Partizan was behind most of the game and by as much as 10 points right
after head coach Dusko Vujosevic was ejected late in the third quarter.
A three-pointer from Dragan Milosavljevic gave Partizan its first lead
of the game, 60-59, after 37 minutes, while others from Andjusic and
Branislav Djekic sealed the deal. Romeo Travis tallied 18 points and 9
rebounds in defeat. Similarly, Olimpija squeezed out an away victory
65-71 in Kragujevac. After trailing by 13 at halftime, Olimpija turned

September 28, 2012 - Partizan in big problems until the end
The new ABA League season will be definitely the one
with a lot of drama and thrillers all over the region, which was seen
already in the opening two games on Friday, when Široki Wwin and
Partizan m:ts had big problems in reaching their first victories of the
season. Especially Partizan was walking on the edge
until the last part of the furth period. Zadar was leading until the
37th minute while the hosts had to play without their coach Duško

September 27, 2012 - ABA Adriatic
league 2012-13 will start tomorrow
With
two games tomorrow, Friday, September 28, ABA Adriatic league will start. New season, new
excitements and according to many people this season should be one of
the best in last decade. 14 teams will fight for ABA Adriatic league
trophy and I may already say that Cedevita Zagreb, Crvena Zvezda Diva,
Partizan mt:s are the main candidates for trophy. Maybe even Radnicki
Kragujevac could be one of teams who will play one of main roles in
this season. This season there are two newcomers in ABA Adriatic
league, Szolnoki Olaj from Hungary and MZT Skopje from F.Y.R. of
