February 4, 2012 - Heat use late run to top 76ers 99-79
With LeBron James running the show, Miami ran the Sixers out of their building. Dwyane Wade scored 26 points, and James had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Miami Heat to a 99-79 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. Read more here.

February 4, 2012 - Wolves overcome Morrow’s 42 to beat Nets 108-105
The Minnesota Timberwolves almost never won away from home last season. Now, they don’t seem eager to go back there. Luke Ridnour made the tiebreaking 3-pointer with 1:23 left, Nikola Pekovic scored a career-high 27 points, and the Timberwolves beat the New Jersey Nets 108-105 on Friday night to surpass last season’s road victory total. February 4, 2012 - Efes loses Kuqo to injury
On the heels of a loaning one veteran away this week, Anadolu Efes Istanbul announced Friday that it had lost another to a long-term injury. On Friday, a day after loaning point guard Vlado Ilievski to Eurocup contender Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia, Efes announced that center Ermal Kuqo would be out two months after undergoing surgery for an unspecified injury. February 3, 2012 - Steven Smith two weeks out
Steven Smith of Panathinaikos underwent an MRI scan on Friday that showed a muscular tear in his left leg and will be sidelined for about two weeks. Smith was injured seven minutes into the game against Fenerbahce in Istanbul. Read more here.

Marjan Lazovski has been appointed the new coach of FYR of Macedonia. This follows the departure of Marin Dokuzovski who left to focus on his Bulgarian club side Lukoil Academic. Read more here.

Two cities and three franchises accounted for six of the 10 players voted starters for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, announced Thursday. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James of the Miami Heat were voted Eastern Conference starters for the Feb. 26 game at Amway Center in Orlando. Read more here.

One of the central figures in what is shaping up to be a season for the record books for CSKA Moscow is center Nenad Krstic. The big man added to his stellar campaign this week by picking up Top 16, Week 3 bwin MVP honors and thus joining teammate Andrei Kirilenko among only three players to claim that title twice this season. The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 hit its halfway mark with Week 3’s eight contests. With three games left in this phase of the competition, all teams are still alive and none have made the playoffs yet, but that could change as soon as next week.
