The 2013-14 Eurocup Draw took place in Barcelona on
Saturday and divided 48 clubs from 24 countries into the regular season
groups that will mark the road forward toward the eventual crowning of
the competition's champion next May. The 10-game Eurocup regular season
will begin on October 15 and finish on December 18, with the best three
of each group's six teams advancing. Games resume on January 7, with
the opening of the Last 32 round. All 24 qualified teams will be joined
by 8 more - those eliminated in the 2013-14 Turkish Airlines Euroleague

September 27, 2013 - 2013-14 Eurocup Regular Season draw set for Saturday, October 5
The draw to determine the 2013-14 Eurocup Regular
Season groups will take place on Saturday, October 5 (12:30 Local time)
at the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch in Barcelona,
Spain. The draw will take place one day after the end of the Turkish
Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, whose results will determine the
last seven of the 48 teams that will play in the Eurocup this season.
The 2013-14 Eurocup marks a new era of expansion in terms of
participation, quantity of games and geographical reach, with 48 teams
from at least 22 countries starting the regular season on Tuesday,

July 16, 2013 - Teams announced for newly expanded 2013-14 Eurocup!
A
new era of Eurocup expansion in terms of participation, quantity of
games and geographical reach started today with the announcement of the
teams that will fill the competition's 2013-14 regular season groups.
The list consists of 41 teams who will be joined by seven more in late
October, following their participation in the Turkish Airlines
Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, for a total of 48 competing in the
Eurocup Regular Season. The list of teams shows the tremendous strides
that the Eurocup has taken in recent seasons. The 2013-14 edition will
be played in at least 21 countries. A minimum of 10 national champions
from those countries will participate in the Eurocup, with the
possibility of as many as three more joining the competition after the

June 14, 2013 - Eurocup changes format, expands to 48 teams for 2013-14
The 12th season of the Eurocup competition will
include more teams, more games and more excitement. Responding to the
requests of European professional clubs, the competition will increase
from 32 to 48 teams in the Regular Season phase. The size of the groups
will grow from four to six teams, thus the number of guaranteed games
for each club will increase from six to 10. Another innovation this
season will see clubs divided into two regional conferences for the
Regular Season phase in order to reduce travel times and costs for
participants. The top three teams in each group will advance to the
