October 18, 2021 - Round 1
The 2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup season is upon us. The
regular season tips off with a new format - 20 teams split between two
round-robin groups - with the 10 opening-round games evenly split
between Tuesday and Wednesday. The season tips off in the Turkish
capital where a returnee to the competition, Turk Telekom Ankara
welcomes last year's quarterfinalist Boulogne Metropolitans 92. The
hosts will rely on a couple of guys who battled on Turkish Airlines
EuroLeague floors last two seasons, sharpshooter Aaron Harrison and
center Octavius Ellis, as well as former EuroCup champ JaJuan Johnson.
Metropolitans has a former champion of its own in guard Will Cummings,
plenty of size and athleticism throughout the lineup, and a significant
boost of experience that comes from its new head coach Vincent Collet.
