In the previous column we got familiar with the agility ladder which can influence on the following if used right:
Better leg coordination (precision, rhythm, agility…)
* Better posture
* Better stability
* Better ankle stability
* leg speed (movement frequency)
* correct technique of feet positioning at running
* Speed of direction change…
In this column you can take a look at some other exercise on video
which can be used on the mentioned prop. When I started to include the
agility ladder into my practices I actually used exercise from the
basis of school of running (low, high skipping, cross steps…).
Naturally, I learned about some things on different seminars and other
teaching aids. A very important factor at agility practices is
imagination. Allow your players to invent a practice themselves. Allow
them to become and be imaginative!
Once we have a large spectrum of this sort of exercise, it is recommendable to execute them faster and more accurately.
