  Exercise on agility ladder

By Dejan Rodic http://www.dejanrodic.com

dejan rodicIn the previous column we got familiar with the agility ladder which can influence on the following if used right:

Better leg coordination (precision, rhythm, agility…)
      * Better posture
      * Better stability
      * Better ankle stability
      * leg speed (movement frequency)
      * correct technique of feet positioning at running
      * Speed of direction change…

In this column you can take a look at some other exercise on video which can be used on the mentioned prop. When I started to include the agility ladder into my practices I actually used exercise from the basis of school of running (low, high skipping, cross steps…). Naturally, I learned about some things on different seminars and other teaching aids. A very important factor at agility practices is imagination. Allow your players to invent a practice themselves. Allow them to become and be imaginative!

Once we have a large spectrum of this sort of exercise, it is recommendable to execute them faster and more accurately.
