Hot
Turkish Airlines Euroleague post-season
July 9, 2015
Like every year at
the same time, a lot of news regarding players who changed clubs,
re-signed contracts, coaches changes, etc...
After 2014-15 Turkish Airlines Euroleague season finished, all fans
were excited to see how their favorite teams will look like for the
upcoming season.
Players market is crazy in last several days, even we expect top news
in coming weeks. There are several free agents and many clubs would
like to complete their rosters as soon as possible.
In meantime you can check odds with different Basketball leagues as WNBA, FIBA World Championship U19, U17, and so.
Like every year, there will be some signings few days before the start
of Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season, but mostly, rosters will
be completed earlier.
One thing that is pretty interesting that there were already several
long-term contracts that players signed with clubs. For example, Sergio
Llull re-signed with Real Madrid until 2021.
Several young players also signed long-term contracts, and mostly other
players signed 2-3 years contracts.
If you ask me, it means that financial situation is
getting better and better in Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams. We
still remember situation few years ago when clubs signed players for
even less than one month.
Several teams extended its coaches as they were satisfied with their
results in last season. Dejan Radonjic extended with Crvena zvezda
Telekom Belgrade. Ergin Ataman extends with Galatasaray.
One of the top news so far when we talk about coaches is that
Aleksandar Djordjevic is new Head Coach of Panathinaikos. Serbia
National team coach will lead Panathinaikos and he will also remain at helm
of Serbia National team as well.
2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague draw took place today in Barcelona,
and 24 teams were divided in four groups. Honestly, it is hard to say
which group is the hardest one.
So, we may expect exciting new season in Turkish Airlines Euroleague,
and I am sure that all we looking forward for the start in the middle of
October.
