The Rising Stars Of The NBA: Who Will Be A New Superstar

The NBA is full of young talent at the moment. Players are getting bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled than ever before. However, it remains very difficult to become a superstar in the NBA - even for players with all of those natural advantages. Between a competitive league and high standards for success, there aren’t many new superstars being forged these days. Most of the stars playing in the league right now have been around for a while, with many of them having first gained recognition during their college careers. Therefore, it’s rare to see any new faces break into the list of the top 50 NBA players in any given season. With that said, there are still some rising stars who could one day become new superstars if they continue developing their game at this rate.

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving has been one of the NBA’s best point guards for a few years now. He was an All-Star in his second season and finished third in MVP voting in his third. Irving’s scoring ability is his best skill; he has developed into one of the league’s best finishers and shoots at a high volume. The 25-year-old also has a great handle and can get to the rim and create plays for his teammates whenever he wants. However, he doesn’t do much else besides that. Irving is a poor rebounder and doesn’t have the size or defensive ability to compensate.

He has also never led his team to a deep playoff run, and his performance in the 2017 Finals was disappointing. While Irving deserves credit for increasing his skill level and being a huge reason why the Cavs won a championship in 2016, he has not yet shown that he has the ability to be the best player on a championship team. If Irving can improve his defense and leadership skills, he may one day become a superstar. If he doesn’t, he will remain a good player who is a threat to win the scoring title from time to time.

Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA. He led the league in total points scored for two straight years, including a career-best 27.0 per game in 2017. Lillard can score from inside the paint, outside the three-point line, and at the free-throw line with ease. The point guard is also a good passer who can find his teammates when they are open and make good decisions with the ball when his team has the advantage. Lillard’s scoring and passing abilities make him one of the most complete players in the league.

The 28-year-old still has room to improve in other areas of his game, though. He’s a decent rebounder, but not as good as one would expect from a 6’3” player. He is also not yet a good defender, which is expected from a point guard. Lillard has shown that he can be a good leader and take control of a team, but he has yet to be given the chance to be a real superstar. If he ever does, he has the ability to become one of the best players in the NBA. Click on this website to see more players and actually bet on them.

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson has been one of the league’s best shooting guards for a few years now. He can score from any range on the floor, but he’s best from behind the three-point line. Thompson is also a good passer who finds his teammates when they are open and moves the ball well in the flow of the offense. The 27-year-old is also a solid rebounder and a good defender. He doesn’t have to play many minutes because the Warriors have multiple other All-NBA defenders on the court at the same time.

There are times when Thompson’s game looks a little too easy. He does many things well, but he doesn’t have any one skill that makes him a standout player. If he could lead the league in one statistical category, that would be a huge boost to his status as a superstar. However, that doesn’t take away from the fact that Thompson is one of the best two-way players in the league. He has the potential to become a top-10 player in the league, and a championship ring would only add to his resume.

Victor Oladipo

Victor Oladipo was one of the league’s best young players in 2017. The 24-year-old had made a name for himself as a solid role player since being taken with the second overall pick in the 2013 draft. However, he was given more minutes and a bigger role in the Pacers’ offense after being traded from the Thunder in 2017. Oladipo’s numbers jumped as a result, and he was rewarded with an All-NBA selection for his efforts. He is a tremendous athlete who is capable of creating plenty of highlight plays.

Oladipo is also a good defender and playmaker. He has everything he needs to become a true superstar in the league. He just needs to prove that he is capable of leading a team to a deep playoff run. There are some questions about his ability to lead a team, but he has already made a step in the right direction by reaching an All-NBA level after taking over a new franchise. He could be a superstar as early as next year if he continues to improve his game.

Michael Carter-Williams

Michael Carter-Williams was one of the top rookies in 2013-14, but his NBA career has been disappointing ever since. His scoring and playmaking abilities are average, at best, and he has never shown that he is capable of leading a team to a playoff spot. The 25-year-old is a good defender, though, and he has the size and athleticism to become a better playmaker as he gets older. There are a few other young players who have the ability to become elite talents, but Carter-Williams is one of the best candidates to become a star in the future. If he can find a way to improve his shooting, he could become a better passer and become a legitimate superstar. If he is unable to do that, he may become a good role player on a top team.

Conclusion

The NBA is full of under-25 players who have the ability to become superstars. There are plenty of established All-Stars who may reach a new level of production soon and become superstar-level talents. There are also a few young players who have shown potential but have yet to reach their potential. If they can continue to develop and improve their game, they may become superstars. Visit Parimatch to see more of these and other players. You could also place a bet on them before or during their next game!
