Finals Betting: Why The Cavaliers Will Survive In Game 6
The Cleveland
Cavaliers are missing Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and even Anderson
Varejao. Even so, they’ve fought valiantly and return home for Game 6
of the NBA Finals. They’re backs are up against the wall as they trail
3-2.
However, the Cavs have LeBron James and homecourt advantage, and that
might be all they need to force an ultimate Game 7:
Why The Cleveland
Cavaliers Will Win Game 6
The Cavs are 7-2 at home so far in the playoffs,
along with 31-10 in the regular season and they haven't lost two in a
row at QuickenLoans Arena since early January, when they were in the
midst of a slump that had some wondering if they would even make the
playoffs. LeBron James didn't play in those games either as he took a
couple weeks off to rest and it turns out that he has needed it because
Cleveland would have been swept without him. James has averaged 36.6
points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists (with two triple-doubles, which
gives him six in the Finals in his career now) and while he hasn't been
shooting well, he has made up for it in many other ways. But he can
only do so much on his own.
However, the Cavs have to figure out how to deal with the small Golden
State lineup that destroyed them in Games 3 and 4. Timofey Mozgov has
been taken out of the equation and the Cavaliers simply don't have the
speed to match the Warriors, so they might have to play Mozgov more,
use their size advantage and hope for the best. With Kyrie Irving and
Kevin Love out, there isn't much Cleveland can do and while James is
doing his best to do everything, he needs help from his teammates,
David Blatt and anyone else you can think of to send this series back
to Oakland for a seventh game.
