After Nikos Hatzivrettas and Dimos Dikoudis another member of the Greek National Team that won gold in the Eurobasket 2005 and silver in the World Championship 2006, joins Aris Thessaloniki. Michalis Kakiouzis will be wearing the yellow jersey for the next season.

Real Madrid completed their 8th transfer of the offseason as they announced the signing of 21-year old Vladimir Dasic from Buducnost.

Cibona officially announced the signing of 29-year old Dalibor Bagaric who returns to the club after 10 years. The signed contract is for the next season.

August 26, 2009 - Barcelona, Joventut reach an agreement on Rubio
According to Spanish sources Ricky Rubio's future is finally clear: at least for the next two seasons Rubio will play for Barcelona. Barca raised their offer to 3.7 million and Joventut agreed to let Rubio go.

As informed by the club on its official website, SLUC Nancy of France announced the addition of forward Kaniel Dickens (31, 203), arriving from Cimberio Varese of the Italian second division.

KK Partizan Belgrade announced on its website the addition of young power forward Sava Lesic (21, 204). Lesic arrives from KK Superfund Basket Plus, a Serbian second division team.

Armani Jeans Milano announced on Monday the addition of point guard Morris Finley for the next two seasons. Finley switches sides from Montepaschi Siena, where last year he won the Italian League title. He averaged 4.5 points and 1.0 assists in 14 Euroleague games with Siena.
