The first team to punch its ticket to the Nike International Junior Tournament is none other than Zalgiris Kaunas, a 79-55 winner over Benetton Basket Treviso on Tuesday night.

December 29, 2009 - Murat Ozyer resigns Turk Telekom bench
A week before its first do-or-die Eurocup game of the season, Turk Telekom announced on Tuesday the resignation of head coach Murat Ozyer by mutual agreement. To fill in for Ozyer, assistant coach Merih Cakıroglu has been promoted.

December 28, 2009 - CSKA brings Sims for tryout
Looking ahead to the Top 16, already-qualified CSKA Moscow will try out a new center, Courtney Sims, in attempts to shore up its frontcourt. Sims (211, 26) arrives from the National Basketball Development League, where he was the MVP last season.

December 27, 2009 - Trifunovic, new Crvena Zvezda boss
Former Crvena Zvezda player and coach, Aleksandar Trifunovic, is back on the club’s bench. Trifunovic was introduced Sunday as Crvena Zvezda’s newest head coach. The veteran tactician started the season Spartak St. Petersburg, but resigned early in the year.

December 24, 2009 - Zalgiris tabs Ramunas Butautas as new boss
Zalgiris Kaunas took a page out of its own history on Thursday by hiring former Lithuanian national team boss Ramunas Butautas as the team's new head coach. Butautas arrives from BC Donetsk of Ukraine, where he coached the current season until last week, to replace Gintaras Krapikas.

December 22, 2009 - Cajasol adds Radenovic
Cajasol Seville signed young serbian power forward Ivan Radenovic (2'08, 1984) for the rest of the season. He comes from CSKA Moscow, where he was signed as a temporary replacement for injured Matjas Smodis. Now he will finish the season in sevillian team.

December 22, 2009 - Marko Jaric to Real Madrid
According to "Marca" Real Madrid is very close to concluding a deal which will see Marko Jaric in Madrid. And all this amidst intense rumours that Real Madrid could sign another player too, this time a forward, with Bostjan Nachbar being a possible name.

December 22, 2009 - Memi Becirovic, new coach for Slovenia
"By Christmas we will have a new coach" said the President of the Slovenian Federation. And so it is: the Slovenian Basketball Federation announced the agreement with Memi Becirovic who is currently with Base Oostende.

December 14, 2009 - Lottomatica brings in Matteo Boniciolli
The chance to turn around Lottomatica Roma's season as soon as this week has been given to new head coach Matteo Boniciolli, the club announced on Monday. Boniciolli, 47, signed a contract until the end of the current season. He is the first new head coach to be hired during the Euroleague season and replaces Nando Gentile, who resigned over the weekend.
