on Tuesday announced that Spain will host the first-ever FIBA Women's
Basketball World Cup in 2018. Spain and Israel presented the two bids
shortlisted to host the biggest women's basketball tournament.

teams advanced to the Last 32 in Round 8 of the regular season, and

Basketball joins the family of Serbian and European basketball in
mourning the premature passing of head coach Aleksandar "Aco" Petrovic
on Tuesday in Belgrade. Mr. Petrovic was 55 years old and had battled

Kutxa Vitoria bolstered its backcourt with the signing of guard Mike
James, who arrives from Kolossos Rhodes. The contract is contingent on
