January 31, 2011 - Eurobasket 2011 draw complete
The EuroBasket 2011 Draw took place on Sunday night at the National Drama Theatre of Vilnius, in the most spectacular ceremony with a European basketball theme ever. Reigning EuroBasket champions Spain and hosts Lithuania were drawn together in what promises to be the most hotly contested group, along with  World Championship silver medallists Turkey, Great Britain, Poland and the second team to qualify from the Additional Qualifying Round which features Finland, Hungary and Portugal.

Basketball club Partizan m:ts will play home games in Top 16 of Euroleague in Belgrade Arena. This will be the third season that team from Humska 1 will play home games of the most elite European competition in the biggest arena on the Balkans.

Zalgiris is close to losing one more player due to extraordinary circumstances. Kaunodiena.lt reports that the team's captain Dainius Salenga has been suspended by FIBA after a positive doping test result in his urine sample taken on December 23, 2010 after Euroleague game against Khimki.

On the eve of the Top 16, Caja Laboral and center Marcus Haislip have reached an agreement to part ways, the club announced on Wednesday. Haislip (207, 30) had joined the club with a one-year contract in September, but struggled with injury and appeared in only five games of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season.
