LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne used intense second-half defensive dominance to earn a 72-61 home victory over Lokomotiv Kuban, which sealed first place in Group F for the French side. January 31, 2019 - Valencia downs Unicaja, clinches first place
In a battle that went down to the final seconds, Valencia Basket clinched first place in Top 16 Group G by downing Unicaja Malaga 69-72 on the road on Wednesday. Valencia remained undefeated in the group to finish ahead of Unicaja, which dropped to 3-2 and will be second. Read more here.

January 31, 2019 - Ulm gets bragging rights in Germany

January 31, 2019 - Khimki loses Gill for season to hip injury
Khimki Moscow Region announced on Wednesday that forward Anthony Gill will miss the remainder of the season due to the hip injury he suffered in the team's Round 19 loss to Olympiacos Piraeus. Gill will undergo surgery and is expected to require several months of rehabilitation. Read more here.

January 31, 2019 - Fenerbahce's Vesely out 5 to 6 weeks with knee injury
The top performer in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague this season, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul center Jan Vesely, will miss at least a month of action due to a knee injury. Vesely has already undergone successful surgery to solve a minor right knee meniscus injury. Read more here.

January 30, 2019 - CSKA loses Kulagin indefinitely
CSKA Moscow playmaker Mikhail Kulagin is set to be sidelined indefinitely due to foot surgery. Kulagin was injured in the second quarter of last week's EuroLeague game against FC Barcelona. Kulagin underwent medical tests that confirmed that he has a broken bone in his left foot. Read more here.

January 30, 2019 - ALBA advances with victory in Monaco
ALBA Berlin booked its spot in the quarterfinals of the 7DAYS EuroCup with a 61-75 victory at AS Monaco on Tuesday night. January 30, 2019 - ASVEL's big man Kaba, out three months
It's a tough season for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne's big man Alpha Kaba. In late August, Kaba suffered an elbow injury that had him sidelined until Round 9 of the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season. Rytas Vilnius has announced that it terminated the contract of forward Dominique Sutton. The veteran player had not played during the previous week due to a suspension that resulted from a violation of team rules. Read more here.

Milan overpowered Zalgiris down the stretch to claim an 80-70 victory. AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan moved quickly to retain the strength of its frontcourt by signing Alen Omic to replace Kaleb Tarczewski in the front court for five or six weeks.
