It
seems that his
new Spanish passport and his excellent season with Fuenlabrada last
year has made Esteban Batista a desired man all over the continent.
After Unicaja Malaga lost Kosta Perovic to Barcelona, Batista is
reported to be one of their main targets for the paint along with
Robert Archibald.

seems that Head Coach Kestutis Kemzura will have to cope without yet

down the invitation to Lithuania's NT, due to family reasons. That's

Kazan named Evgeny Pashutin as its new head coach on Friday. Pashutin
agreed to a two-year deal with Kazan, shortly after he left CSKA
Moscow. Pashutin, 41, spent just one season as the CSKA head coach,

coach of Aris Thessaloniki, replacing David Blatt who took over Maccabi

Russian
champs CSKA Moscow signed coaching great Dusko Vujosevic to a
three-year deal, the club announced Friday. Vujosevic, 51, arrives from
Partizan Belgrade, where he had become one of the faces of the
franchise. He coached the Serbian powerhouse from 2001 with no
interruption, leading it to nine consecutive national championships,
four cups and the last four Adriatic League titles, becoming the most
successful coach in that club's illustrious history.

June 21, 2010 - Real Madrid and Louis Bullock part ways
After
six years,
two ACB titles and one Eurocup with Real Madrid, Louis Bullock was told
by the management that he will not continue with the club next season.
The two parts will now have to negotiate a compensation for the 34-year
player as he is still under contract until the summer of 2011.

official. Pini Gershon will not be Maccabi's coach next season. By his

prodigy Jonas Valanciunas is attracting the interest of Olympiacos,

centers in the league. He was signed by Lietuvos Rytas in the
mid-season but soon could make yet another big step in his career.

NBA Draft 2010. 19-year-old Donatas Motiejunas was predicted to be
drafted first among all European players this year. Even though he was
widely considered as a Top 15 draft, it seems that Lithuanian prodigy
now prefers to try his luck next year.
June 5, 2010 - Legendary basketball coach Wooden dies
He
was known as
the Wizard of Westwood, the architect of a dynasty at UCLA that will
never be equaled. But John Wooden leaves behind a legacy much larger
than victories on a basketball court. Wooden died Friday of natural
causes at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. He was 99. His 100th
birthday would have been October 14.

Rytas is making lots of changes ahead of the new season. Rimas
