Lietuvos Rytas added size and promising talent for the upcoming season by getting big man Leon Radosevic on loan from EA7 - Emporio Armani Milano. Radosevic (2.08 meters, 22 years old) averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games with Milan last season.

June 30, 2012 - 2012-13 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Draw criteria and procedure
The Qualifying Rounds will consist of three rounds, QR1, QR2 and QR3. There will be a seeded draw, placing teams into an eight team bracket. Teams will be separated into two seeds according to the Club Ranking described in this appendix. Teams entering the draw following a renouncement will be seeded according to the Club Ranking. Teams granted a Wild Card by ECA will be seeded above the rest of the teams.

Triumph Lyubertsy managed to lock up floor general Tywain McKee for another season, the club announced Thursday. McKee (1.88 meters, 26 years old) was a key part of Triumph’s success last season with 10.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 steals as the club finished third in the EuroChallenge.

FIBA Europe has announced the list of teams to participate in the EuroChallenge 2012/13 season. The Draw for the Regular Season will take place in Freising, Germany, on Friday 6 July. The EuroChallenge Regular Season line-up will feature 32 clubs. 28 teams will be drawn directly into  drawn into the Regular Season groups.

June 28, 2012 - Sweden return to Group D summit
Sweden hit back from an early deficit to beat Germany and move back into first place in Group D of the EuroBasket Women Qualification Round. Frida Eldebrink remained red hot, pouring in 21 points for the Swedes as they improved to 3-1. Both Sweden and a team they have beaten, Spain, are 3-1.

FIBA Europe has announced the list of teams that will participate in the 2012/13 EuroLeague Women season. The Regular Season line-up features 21 clubs, which will be drawn into three groups of seven (7) teams.

June 28, 2012 - Jamont Gordon leaves CSKA Moscow
CSKA Moscow today announced that the club and Jamont Gordon have decided to part ways. After agreeing on the contract termination, Gordon was released from the team. 25-year-old point guard is now a free agent.

June 28, 2012 - Anthony Parker retires
American veteran Anthony Parker announced his retirement from professional basketball after 15 amazing years in Europe and USA. The last five of those seasons, the 37-year-old shooting guard spent was in the NBA, where he played for the Toronto Raptors (2006-2009) and Cleveland Cavaliers (2009-2012).

Gescrap BB reached a new agreement with big man Mamadou Samb to keep him in the team until the end of the 2013-14 season. Samb (2.08 meters, 22 years old) joined Gescrap in January and saw very limited playing time in the 2011-12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague - just 35 seconds in Game 3 of the playoffs against CSKA.

June 24, 2012 - Mahmuti Returns to Efes
Anadolu Efes have signed a deal with their former coach, Oktay Mahmuti, after failing to agree the terms with Zeljko Obradovic. Serbian coach was the first choice of the club. The sides were close to an agreement, but Obradovic’s desire to change all of the foreign players in the roster caused Anadolu Efes to switch to plan B. Read more here.

Unics Kazan put its first piece in place for next season's Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds by bringing back veteran head coach Aco Petrovic on a one-year contract on Friday. June 22, 2012 - Besiktas Agrees With Erman Kunter
Just one day after losing Ergin Ataman to Galatasaray MP, Besiktas have agreed terms with Cholet’s Turkish coach Erman Kunter. According to Abdullah Sozer, the president of the club’s basketball committee, Kunter was going to extend his contract with Cholet, if they didn’t come up with an offer at the last minute. Less than a week after winning their second Serbian League title in a row, Partizan mt:s Belgrade and head coach Vlade Jovanovic announced that they are parting ways after two seasons together. Turkish Airlines Euroleague champions Olympiacos BC is holding on to one of its young stars with the announcement Wednesday that combo guard Kostas Sloukas signed a new contract through the end of the 2014-15 season.
