Cerrado Basquete (CBC League) signed 28-year old naturalized Spaniard center Jose Victor Jeronimo (208-91). He just played at AB Ancud in Chilean Liga Nacional. In 15 games he had 6.7ppg and 5.0rpg this season. Read more here.

March 31, 2020 - KFUM Jamtland Basket and Torbjorn Gehrke part ways
KFUM Jamtland Basket (Basketligan) and coach Torbjorn Gehrke parted ways. Gehrke has worked there for the last six years. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Gehrke was coaching Swedish Senior National Team back in 2008. Read more here.

March 30, 2020 - Marcus Smart cleared from coronavirus
Marcus Smart has been cleared from the coronavirus COVID-19 a couple of days ago, he revealed via a post on Twitter on Sunday evening. The Boston Celtics guard joined Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Christian Wood as known NBA players that recovered. Read more here.

March 30, 2020 - Kalev/Cramo terminates all contracts, considers closing the club
Ten days ago, the Estonian team opted to announce its decision to prematurely end its 2019-20 run, prior to the VTB United League canceling the season. The emergency was caused by the coronavirus pandemic and one member of the team testing positive. Read more here.

March 30, 2020 - Sabrina Ionescu wins Women’s Player of the Year unanimously
Oregon Duck’s women’s basketball star Sabrina Ionescu continued her hall of fame career winning AP women’s player of the year unanimously. The 22 year old senior was the first player since Breanna Stewart (2016) to win the award with a clean sweep. Read more here.

March 29, 2020 - French Federation shuts down its competitions for 2019-2020
The French Basketball Federation announced that all the competitions for 2019-2020 that are held by the organization are canceled amid the coronavirus crisis. The only exception is the Women’s Basketball League for which a final decision will be taken on April 10. Read more here.

March 28, 2020 - Lionel Bosco takes over Sacha Massot's position as Head Coach at Liege Basket
Sacha Massot will leave VOO Liege Basket and replace Brian Lynch as Head Coach of Hubo Limburg United next season. Lionel Bosco, who was the assistant coach of Sacha Massot, has therefore accepted the challenge as new Head Coach of VOO Liege Basket. Read more here.

March 28, 2020 - Radovan Trifunovic leaves Slovenian NT
Radovan Trifunovic will no longer be coaching the Slovenian National Team. He took over the National Team back in 2017. Trifunovic replaced Igor Kokoskov at helm. Previously Radovan Trifunovic worked as assistant coach with the Slovenian National Team. Read more here.

March 28, 2020 - Italian League to reportedly cancel the season without proclaiming a champion
The Italian League will cancel its 2019-20 season without proclaiming a champion, according to  La Gazzetta dello Sport. There are no sanitary and technical conditions to resume activity in the short term while it’s questionable if it could be done later down the road. Read more here.

March 28, 2020 - Pieti Poikola has penned deal with Lahti
Pieti Poikola will take over in Lahti. The coach has agreed on terms of 2+2 contract with the team. Poikola used to work with Kouvot, Pyrinto, FoKoPo and Aura Basket in Finland. He also coached Tindastoll in Iceland. Read more here.

March 27, 2020 - Tavrion Dawson extends deal with Jamtland
Tavrion Dawson renewed his deal with Jamtland. The forward will stay in Sweden for 2020-21 season. Tavrion Dawson played just one game for Jamtland in 2019-20 season. He notched 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in it. He was out since with a broken leg. Read more here.

Igor Zaytsev's Taiwan Beer deliver another victory. The team overcame Yulon Luxgen. First ranked Taiwan Beer managed to get a 9-point victory 106-97. Taiwan Beer dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the pain. Read more here.

March 27, 2020 - Edvinas Seskus paces his team to another win in Taiwan
Edvinas Seskus (196-G/F-95) paced his team to another win in Taiwan, one of the only Leagues played at the moment. Pauian overcame Bank of Taiwan 94-88 on Thursday night. Pauian looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Read more here.

March 27, 2020 - VTB United League has cancelled the remainder of 2019/20 season
Upon online voting, the Board of the League has decided to terminate season 2019-20 due to negative developments in COVID-19 outbreak. There will be no champion of 2019-20 season due to absence of sports criteria: the teams played different number of games. Read more here.

March 24, 2020 - Justin Roberson extends deal with Burevestnik
Justin Roberson (185-G-93, college: ULM) and Burevestnik have agreed on terms of contract extension. The new deal is meant for 2020-21 season. The guard joined Burevestnik at the start of the season. He averaged 19.5 points per game in Superleague 1. Read more here.

EuroLeague Board will have a conference call meeting on Wednesday to discuss developments and the coronavirus pandemic impact on the 2019-20 season. Travel restrictions imposed all around Europe prevent a normal meeting prompting a conference call instead. Read more here.

March 23, 2020 - Valencia, Dubljevic pen three-year extension
Valencia Basket and center Bojan Dubljevic signed a contract extension that will keep them together for three more years, until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club announced Monday. Valencia retains an option to extend his contract for an additional season. Read more here.

March 22, 2020 - Deni Avdija reportedly on Cavaliers’ radar
Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Deni Avdija is on the Cleveland Cavaliers’radar, according to Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor, who reported that the Cavs have done extensive work scouting the Israeli guard/forward. Avdija is a projected top-10 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, probably even top-5. Read more here.

March 16, 2020 - Zadar part ways with Bryon Allen
