It took almost the whole game, but the Rockets finally took a lead and held it. Trevor Ariza's tiebreaking 3-pointer with 1:14 left in overtime and Marcus Thornton's two free throws with less than a second left lifted Houston to a 116-111 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday night. ALBA Berlin rallied from a 16-point first half deficit, then used a huge third quarter and a big game-ending run to beat Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas 84-71at the Mercedes-Benz arena in the German capital. Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade has reunited with point guard Marcus Williams, who starred for the club last season. Williams (1.91 meters, 30 years old) signed a deal for the reminder of the season. Stephen Curry couldn't get the smile off of his face as he trotted back on defense. He had just buried a 31-foot rainbow over 6-foot-10 Anthony Davis - a play he later referred to as ''a dumb shot that went in.''
