a shortage of big men due to injuries, Caja Laboral Vitoria has signed
veteran center Eduardo Hernandez-Sonseca for the first two weeks of the
Turkish Airlines Euroleague season. Hernandez-Sonseca (2.12 meters, 29
years old) played four Euroleague seasons over 11 seasons with Real
Madrid and DKV Joventut Badalona of Spain.

was not a successful weekend for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams
in the Adriatic league as Partizan mt:s Belgrade, Cedevita Zagreb and

Andrija Zizic, it was Cibona Zagreb that snapped their five-game losing
streak against their long-time rival Partizan 80-72.

Basket used big third quarter to down FC Barcelona Regal 78-77. This is
second defeat in as many matches for defending champions that led

game between Alba Berlin and Telecom Bonn postponed, Brose Baskets
Bamberg beat Oldenburg 68-75 to become one of only three teams with 2-0
record in German championship. Defending champions led for most of the
game but found themselves down 64-59 in the opening minute of the
fourth quarter.

defending champions of Telenet Oostende took a thrilling 71-68 win over
