The EuroLeague Women Final Eight 2013 will be hosted by the Russian city of Ekaterinburg and the local club UMMC, FIBA Europe announced on Tuesday. Real Madrid bolstered its frontcourt by inking big man Rafael Hettsheimeir for the remainder of the season, the club announced Tuesday. Rasheed Wallace has come out of retirement and joined the New York Knicks, American media have confirmed. It ends a two-year hiatus for Wallace, 38, who retired in 2010 for ‘personal reasons’. ABA League Competition office announced the fines for round 1 match between Partizan mt:s and Zadar. Dusko Vujosevic was sanctioned with three games in which he is not allowed to lead the team during the game. The sanction applies to games in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round. Read more here.

October 1, 2012 - Zadar signed a new guard
After the decision to release Gary Ervin just days before the beginning of the new season Zadar immediately reacted and already signed a new shooting guard on Saturday.
