Alex Milic is an Australian sportswriter and reporter.
His Love for basketball began in 1996 when Yugoslavia played in the
Olympic Games in Atlanta and won the Silver medal.
Sinle then Alex has been passionate about this beautiful sport. He had
the opportunity to watch
matches at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. A big fan of Serbian
club Red Star Belgrade although he prefers to watch good games rather
then his team win a game that they played bad in. Coached student
basketball and it was an excellent experience although very
stressful for him and understands why Zeljko Obradovic has a temper.
Played for local Basketball team KK Delije which Australian
International and former Red Star Belgrade player Steven Markovic
played for.
Realised his ambition of becoming a sports journalist and that
only increased his love for the sport even more. Finished his
journalist studies but plans on doing further studies in communications
and sports. He has written for newspapers about the local game and the
fall of basketball in Australia. Alex has also reported and written
about other sports such as football and volleyball but basketball is
his prefered choice! In Australia basketball has fallen in the past few
years and is slowly going bankrupt which is very sad. Still a young
journo he has big ambitions as a basketball writer and hopes the world
of basketball enjoys his interesting articles, interviews and opinions.
