fourth month of the 2017/18 season is behind us and we have the fourth
monthly MVP this season. It is Novica Velickovic of Partizan NIS. The
player has also won the MVP of 15th and 17th round awards previously.
Novica Velickovic has proven, throughout the month of January, his
dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and besides
the fact that he finished the month as the statistically the most
efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his contribution
to the team's success – Partizan NIS have won three out of four of
their games this month. The excellent power forward in the ranks of the
black and white averaged 21.5 points, 8.25 rebounds 3 assists and a

Mathias Lessort achieved 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, just as many

Here we are! It is time for new excitements in ABA league as new season is right here.
Season 2017-18 Round 1 will start at Friday, September 29. In first
game, Cedevita will host FMP at 18.00 CET. Later, at 20.00 CET, MZT
Aerodrom Skopje will host Partizan NIS.
We
have the MVP of the 20th round of the season and it is Buducnost VOLI
power forward Danilo Nikolic. Nikolic dominated the court in Moraca
Sports Hall in the game of his team against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. At the
match of the 20th round between Buducnost VOLI and MZT Skopje Aerodrom,
Danilo Nikolic achieved 29 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1
block and a valuation of 33 in less than 24 minutes spent on court. He
had the second highest valuation of the round, behind Uros Lukovic
(37). However, the fact that Nikolic did not use his quality just to
rise near the top of the statistical categories, but also helped his
team to beat MZT Skopje Aerodrom, unlike Lukovic, who was defeated, is

have the MVP of the 19th round of the season and it is Mornar guard
Derek Needham. Needham dominated the court in Laktasi Sports Hall in
the game of his team against Igokea. At the match of the 19th round
between Igokea and Mornar, Derek Needham achieved 26 points, 5
rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 29 in less than 34
minutes spent on court. He had the second highest valuation of the
round, alongside Robert Rikic and behind Luka Zoric (38). However, the
fact that Needham did not use his quality just to rise near the top of
the statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat Igokea,
unlike Rikic and Zoric, which were defeated, is what earned him the MVP

The
fourth month of the 2017/18 season is behind us and we have the fourth
monthly MVP this season. It is Novica Velickovic of Partizan NIS. The
player has also won the MVP of 15th and 17th round awards previously.
Novica Velickovic has proven, throughout the month of January, his
dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and besides
the fact that he finished the month as the statistically the most
efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his contribution
to the team's success – Partizan NIS have won three out of four of
their games this month. The excellent power forward in the ranks of the
black and white averaged 21.5 points, 8.25 rebounds 3 assists and a
valuation of 21.25 during the games of Partizan NIS, which puts him on
the first place in the rankings in valuation of the month of January.

have the MVP of the 18th round of the season and it is Mega Bemax
forward Vlatko Cancar. Cancar dominated the court in Pinki Sports Hall
in the game of his team against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. At the match of
the 18th round between Mega Bemax and MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Vlatko
Cancar achieved 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks
and a valuation of 29 in less than 27 minutes spent on court. He had
the second highest valuation of the round, alongside Novica Velicković
and behind Luka Bozic (31). However, the fact that Cancar did not use
his quality just to rise near the top of the statistical categories,
but also helped his team to beat MZT Skopje Aerodrom, unlike Velicković

the 16th round between MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Cibona, Dominik Mavra
achieved 18 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and a valuation of 34 in
less than 35 minutes spent on court. He had the highest valuation of
the round in the ABA League. However, the fact that Mavra did not use
his quality just to rise on the top of the statistical categories, but
also helped his team to beat Cibona is what earned him the MVP of the

monthly MVP this season. After Partizan NIS guard Patrick Miller and
Milko Bjelica of Crvena zvezda mts this time around it is Josh Bostic
of Zadar. The player has also won the MVP of 10th round award
previously. Joshua Bostic has proven, throughout the month of December,
his dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and
besides the fact that he finished the month as the statistically the
most efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his
contribution to the team's success – Zadar have won four out of five of
their games this month and are currently sharing the fourth place in
the league's standings with seven triumphs made so far. Read more

Uros Lukovic. Lukovic dominated the court in Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in
the game against Partizan NIS Belgrade. At the match of the 13th round
between Partizan NIS and Mornar, Uros Lukovic achieved 26 points 8
rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and a valuation of 40 in 25 minutes spent
on court. He had the highest valuation of the round in the ABA League.

forward Nikola Jevtovic. Jevtovic dominated the court in Laktasi Sports

round between Igokea and Petrol Olimpija, Nikola Jevtovic achieved 25
points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and a valuation of 29 in less

guard Roko Leni-Ukic. Ukic dominated the court in Aleksandar Nikolic
Hall in the game against Partizan NIS. At the match of the 11th round
between Partizan NIS and Cedevita, Roko-Leni Ukić achieved 23 points, 2
rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 28 in less than 27
minutes spent on court. Together with Nigel Williams-Goss of Partizan
NIS, he had the highest valuation of the round in the ABA League, but
unlike Williams-Goss, he pushed his team to the victory with his
performance. The fact that Ukić did not use his quality just to rise on
the top of the statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat
Partizan NIS with excellent efficiency during his playing time, is what

besides the fact that he finished the month as the statistically the
most efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his
contribution to the team's success – Crvena zvezda mts have won all
three of their games this month and are currently occupying the second

have the MVP of the 9th round of the season and it is Cedevita guard
Dzanan Musa. Musa dominated the court in Drazen Petrovic Arena in the
game against Mornar. At the match of the 9th round between Cedevita and
Mornar, Dzanan Musa achieved 35 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals
and a valuation of 46 in 27 minutes spent on court. He had the highest
valuation this round amongst all ABA League players that stepped on the
floor. However, fact that Musa did not use his quality just to rise on
the top of the statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat

the fact that he finished the month as the statistically the most
efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his contribution
to the team's success – Partizan NIS have won four of six games played
so far and share the second place in the standings at the moment. The
excellent American newcomer in the ranks of the black and white
averaged 18.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1 steal and a
valuation of 25.4 during the games of Partizan NIS, which puts him on
the first place in the rankings in valuation of the season so far. Read

have the MVP of the 4th round of the season and it is Cibona's center
Luka Zoric. Zoric dominated the court in Drazen Petrovic Arena in the
derby game of the Zagreb city between his Cibona and Cedevita. At the
match of the 4th round between Cibona and Cedevita, Luka Zoric achieved
29 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, a steal and a valuation of 41 in 32
minutes spent on court. He had the highest valuation this round amongst
all ABA League players that stepped on the floor. However, fact that
Zoric did not use his quality just to rise on the top of the
statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat Cedevita, is

have the MVP of the 3rd round of the season and it is Zadar's forward
Luka Bozic. Bozic dominated the court in Jane Sandanski in the game of
his Zadar against MZT Skopje Aerodrom. At the match of the 3rd round
between MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Zadar, Luka Bozic achieved 16 points, 9
rebounds, 4 assists, a block and a valuation of 32 in 40 minutes spent
on court. He had the higher valuation this round amongst all ABA League
players that stepped on the floor. However, fact that Bozic did not use
his quality just to rise on the top of the statistical categories, but
also helped his team to beat MZT Skopje Aerodrom, is what earned him

have the MVP of the 2nd round of the season and it is Cedevita's guard
Will Cherry. Cherry dominated the court in Višnjik in the game of his
Cedevita against Zadar. At the match of the 2nd round between Zadar and
Cedevita, Will Cherry achieved 17 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assist, 2
steals and a valuation of 27 in just as many minutes spent on court.
Only Jordan Morgan of Petrol Olimpija (39) and Dylan Ennis of Mega
Bemax (33) had higher valuations this round, but they did not manage to

the match of the 1st round between Crvena zvezda mts and Mornar,
Mathias Lessort achieved 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, just as many
steals and a block and a valuation of 30 in only 26 minutes spent on
court. Only Luka Žorić of Cibona had a higher valuation this round
(34), but his team has lost the game in Sremska Mitrovica against Mega
Bemax, while Damjan Stojanovski of MZT Skopje Aerodrom had the same
index as Lessort, but collected it in more minutes spent on court than
