March 10, 2020 - Round 21 MVP: Derek Needham (Mornar)
We
have the MVP of the 21st round of the season and it is Mornar guard

the match of the 21st round between Mornar and Krka, Derek Needham
achieved 12 points, 11 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and a valuation of
27 in 30 minutes spent on court. He had the highest valuation of the
round in the ABA League, together with Domagoj Vukovic and Muhammed
Ahmed of Zadar. However, the fact that Derek Needham did not use his
quality just to rise to the top of the statistical categories, but also
helped his team to beat Krka, is what earned him the MVP of the round
honour. Needham was also the top passer of ABA League Round 21. The
other players that marked the Round 21 with their individual
performances were the top scorer Dominic Gilbert of Zadar (23 points),
top rebounder Jaka Blazic of Cedevita Olimpija (14 rebounds each) and
top ball thief Kevin Punter of Crvena zvezda mts (4 steals). Read more

March 6, 2020 - Round 21
Important game is coming to Laktaši, where Igokea
will be hosting Cibona and both teams need a victory badly in their
battle of avoiding the danger zone near the bottom of the ABA League
standings. Ahead of the Round 21, Igokea hold 7 wins in their hands and
Cibona 6, while the last-placed Zadar have won 5 games so far. So it is
clear that the team that wins this game would improve their position in
the standings greatly and perhaps save their season, while the losing
one might get into trouble. Read more here.

February 29, 2020 - Round 20
With just 3 rounds remaining in the regular season,
it is quite clear why this match is so important for both sides. Crvena
zvezda mts and Cedevita Olimpija will face each other on Sunday evening
in Belgrade in the battle for the Playoffs! Crvena zvezda mts are not
in a good rhythm as they have suffered several painful defeats over the
past month. They lost the previous match in the ABA League against
Mornar in the road, then they lost the Serbian National Cup final
against their arch rivals Partizan NIS in a thrilling ending, while on
top of that they have lost the previous 3 games in the EuroLeague. Read

Lukovic did not use his quality just to rise to the top of the
statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat Crvena zvezda
mts, unlike the stats of Marko Lukovic in the game against FMP, is what
earned him the MVP of the round honour. Read more here.

A big game is coming up in Belgrade on Saturday
night, as FMP will be hosting Cedevita Olimpija in a battle of two of
the most serious competitors for one of the four spots available in the
ABA League Playoffs. And, we could argue that the game is coming in the
right time for both squads. Both of them have been in some kind of a
crisis lately, as both of them have won only 1 of their last five games
and while FMP’s winless streak spans on 3 games, Cedevita Olimpija
haven’t tasted the sweetness of a win for four rounds in a row. So, in
the 18th round of the ABA League season one thing is certain – one of
the two teams will end their negative streak. Read more here.

powerhouses are about to beet in Zagreb. With eight rounds to go in the
regular season of the ABA League, both of the mentioned squads are
