Lessort picked a sterling moment to set a career-high in scoring. The
AS Monaco center led his team to a series win over Buducnost VOLI
Podgorica on Wednesday while claiming the MVP honors for the week in
the 7DAYS EuroCup. Lessort posted a performance index rating of 29 to
lead all players in the two Game 3s played in the EuroCup
Quarterfinals. He made 7 of 10 two-point shots and set a club record
with 10 free throws made alongside 2 misses in compiling 24 points. He
also had 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block and 7 fouls drawn, while
committing 5 turnovers and 3 fouls. The second-highest PIR of the week
came from Mindaugas Kuzminskas with 28 for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar in
a loss at UNICS Kazan. UNICS Jordan Morgan and Okaro White were third
and fourth, respectively, with PIRs of 27 and 26, followed by Lessort's

March 30, 2021 - Game 3
Two very different quarterfinal series that have
reached do-or-die Game 3 will tip off simultaneously on Wednesday to
determine which two teams advance to the 7DAYS EuroCup Playoffs
starting less than a week later. Russian rivals UNICS Kazan and
Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar have both won easily at home. Their 2019
quartefinal went the same, with UNICS, the host again this time, making

March 27, 2021 - MVP of the Week: Willie Reed, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica
In
a thrilling opening week of the 7DAYS EuroCup Quarterfinals, Buducnost
VOLI Podgorica center Willie Reed had a dominant performance leading
his team to a rare Game 1 road win while earning himself a weekly MVP
award in a process. Reed posted personal bests of 24 points and 13
rebounds in 76-77 win over AS Monaco in Game 1 of their best-of-three
series. Reed made 11 two-point shots, the most in the quarterfinals
since 2014, on 17 attempts. He added 2 assists and 1 steal for a
performance index rating 35, which is tied for eighth highest PIR in
quarterfinals history. The next-best performance of the week belonged
to Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar playmaker Nigel Williams-Goss, who had a
PIR 34 in Game 1 loss against UNICS Kazan, collecting 31 points on
10-for-16 two-point shooting and 2-for-4 on three-pointers, along with

March 25, 2021 - Game 2
After two unprecedented road wins among the four
7DAYS EuroCup Quarterfinals series openers, the Game 1 visitors head on
the road for Game 2 on Thursday and Friday. Buducnost VOLI Podgorica
and Herbalife Gran Canaria head home knowing a victory means a sweep
and a ticket to the semis. UNICS Kazan and Virtus Segafredo Bologna are
also one win from the next stage, but they must win on the road to
sweep the series. The first team with a chance to advance will be
UNICS< which visits Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar on Thursday night. The
